Hello Girlguiding family! I am a Guide and I’m new to this blog. I will be giving you lots of ideas to do when you’re bored at home. Here’s a little bit about me:

K is for Kindness

I actually found this activity on the Girlguiding Facebook page: Adventures at home

First, write the alphabet going down the side of the page. Then write a random act of kindness that begins with each letter. If you run out of ideas, you can use my ideas for inspiration. You can even make it into a race to see who finishes first, as suggested on the Facebook page, but you can do it on your own too. Once you’ve finished, you can decorate the paper and hang it up on your wall and try to complete one of the activities you came up with as often as you can.

The ABC Challenge

My Guides leader put this challenge on my Guides Unit’s Facebook page, which I completed with my sister who is a Brownie. The challenge is to go around your house or garden and collect a small object for each letter of the alphabet. Then you put them all together and take a photo. Here’s ours for inspiration:
