Cost of living grant: Round 2 - 2024

Many Girlguiding members, especially those in more deprived areas, have been hit hard by the cost-of-living crisis. The cost of living grants are to support girls in financial need to access guiding. This includes help with payments of subs and rent.
Applicants should describe how they will spend the grant. They must spend it in a way that delivers one or more of the intended benefits of the cost of living grant funding:
Increase numbers of girls from poorer socio-economic backgrounds who can access guiding.
Enable existing young members to continue to benefit from Girlguiding despite cost of living crisis (keep membership stable.
Expand our provision in deprived areas where we have no presence (increase units)
Enable struggling units to keep operating despite cost of living crisis (keep unit numbers stable)
Closing date for applications: 9am on 18th November 2024
Maximum amount of funding available: £250.00
Preference will be given to units that have not previously applied
Information to be submitted: Bank Statement and latest approved accounts.
