Girlguiding Cymru RNLI Mayday challenge

In 2024, the RNLI celebrates its 200th anniversary and as part of the lead up to this anniversary the lifesaving charity is launching this resource in collaboration with Girlguiding Cymru.

Girlguiding Cymru and the RNLI have partnered to create a water safety resource for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides & Rangers with a focus on the 4 key safety messages which the RNLI has adopted as part of the Water Safety Code.

Rights Challenge pack

The badge enables Guides and Brownies to learn more about children’s rights and about the Children’s Commissioner.
The pack includes:
Knowing all about children’s rights.
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
Know about the Children’s Commissioner for Wales, and her super powers
Know where you could find more information about your rights
Be able to tell your family and friends about your rights

Active adventures challenge pack

The Girlguiding Cymru Active adventures pack, produced in partnership with Sustrans Cymru teaches Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers about active travel.

This challenge is all about active adventure – using active ways, like walking, cycling, scooting or wheeling, to get to the places we need to go. There are 4 different sections in this badge, through which you will learn about active travel and develop skills to help you travel actively more often.

Girlguiding Cymru Cricket Challenge 2024

Our third Cricket Challenge pack is here! - Giving members the opportunity to get active, have fun, and make new friends. Our partnership with Cricket Wales will allow members from all sections to learn about the sport and take part in exciting sessions locally.
We are really excited to share with you our Girlguiding Cymru Cricket Challenge in partnership with Cricket Wales. In this challenge pack you’ll learn more about women’s cricket whilst having fun.
The aim of the challenge pack is to help promote cricket with all our members.

ICE Civil engineering challenge

The Girlguiding Cymru Civil Engineering Pack, produced in partnership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), is a fun and engaging way for Guides and Rangers to learn about the exciting world of civil engineering.

The Girlguiding Cymru Civil Engineering Pack is a great way for girls to develop their problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork skills. It is also a great way to inspire girls to consider a career in civil engineering.

Street dance challenge

The Street Dance challenge is a new pack from Girlguiding Cymru and UDOIT! Dance, which aims to encourage girls and volunteers to explore street dancing and its rich history.

Girls who complete the challenge can receive a certificate and a badge.

Castell cariad challenge

The Castell cariad challenge is a new initiative from Girlguiding Cymru and Cadw, which aims to encourage girls and volunteers to explore castles and other historic sites in Wales as well as a range of fun history activities.

Girls who complete the challenge can receive a certificate and a badge.

Moonwalk Challenge

Girlguiding Cymru are proud to share our Moonwalk Challenge which has been re-released.
