Our second Girlguiding Cymru Cricket Challenge is here! - Giving members the opportunity to get active, have fun, and make new friends.

Following on from the success of the first challenge pack in 2022, Girlguiding Cymru and Cricket Wales have continued their partnership in 2023. The aim of our partnership aims to encourage more girls to play cricket.

As part of the partnership, we have developed a brand new cricket challenge pack and badge for girls and volunteers. The pack will include activities and games that will help girls learn about the basics of cricket.

Cricket Wales will also provide Girlguiding Cymru members with access to coaching sessions across Wales.

How to book a session at your local club

The aim of this challenge is to work together to provide a fun, safe and friendly environment for girls to experience cricket and enjoy the positive effects that playing cricket can give to girls.
We want girls to say ‘Cricket is a game for me!

Members can take part in a cricket festival or cricket taster session at a local club.
