MEET YOUR INTERNATIONAL LEAD VOLUNTEER - CAROL

I have been a member of Girlguiding since a Brownie, I am now a Guide and Ranger Leader and a District Commissioner in Cardiff and East Glamorgan, and a Trainer for Girlguiding.

An exciting part of being involved with International Girlguiding is hearing about the adventures the girls have had while representing Girlguiding Cymru, and the fun and experiences they have while exploring other countries and cultures.

I have also been very lucky myself and was honoured to be asked to lead a UK party to Japan, I have led a County Leaders trip to Our Chalet in Switzerland and more recently went to Our Cabana in Mexico, with a lovely group of girls and Leaders. I am looking forward to being the International Adviser and I know I follow in the footsteps of many wonderful and experienced Leaders and I am excited to continue their hard work and develop International friendships and experiences.
