Our Castell to château trip 2025
An international adventure for adults
For the past 2 years work has been undertaken to find a suitable location in Paris to host an event entitled Castell to Chateau -which successfully resulted in a separate project of Castell Cariad.
Premise
The plan is for members to stay in at or near a Castell in your local area within 2 weeks of travel to Paris.
The leaders will travel by their own method to meet up at the PGL centre Chateau de Grande Romaine - PGL
The dates in Paris will be Friday 11 April to Monday 14 April 2025.
The accommodation will be half board to give leaders flexibility to explore.
Costs
The cost per person for the event to include half board accommodation, the transport to Paris on Saturday, activities and a polo shirt and badge will be £370.00. We ask for a £75.00 per person non-returnable deposit to accompany the booking form.
We will let all travellers know the date when the balance is due.
This cost does not include your travel from UK to Paris and Paris back to UK.
Booking and deposit
We will be requesting non-refundable deposits of £75 from leaders.
There are limited places for the event and therefore the booking form will go live on Monday, 13th May 2024 at 12 noon.
Accommodation
All Leaders need to be over 18 and have an up-to-date DBS status to stay in PGL and need their own insurance for travelling. Some of the accommodation will be in shared rooms with bunk beds.
There are a few single occupancy rooms, but these will incur a single supplement to be confirmed.
