As well as working with young members, volunteers have the opportunity to expand existing skills or develop new skills. The below roles are volunteer roles within Girlguiding Cymru.
Vacancy – Girlguiding Cymru Council Member
Girlguiding Cymru is looking to appoint two elected council members (at least one aged 14-25) for an initial term of 3 years.
Being a Council member is a fantastic opportunity for you to shape Girlguiding’s future.
The role of council is to provide a forum for its members from all countries and regions to engage with Girlguiding at a national level. There are some specific decisions it is responsible for, and other matters upon which it can be engaged from time to time. The council members bring a diverse range of individual views and perspectives informed by good understanding of local and national issues and interests.

Growth and retention volunteer role
To provide oversight, support and guidance for the development membership growth and retention initiatives across Girlguiding Cymru’s counties in relation to girls and volunteers.
