As well as working with young members, volunteers have the opportunity to expand existing skills or develop new skills. The below roles are volunteer roles within Girlguiding Cymru.

Girlguiding Cymru Trustee

We are looking for additional trustees to join the Girlguiding Cymru Trustee Board who have a variety of skills and knowledge including a member aged 18-30.

Young leader coordinator

Are you ready to inspire the next generation of leaders? Join us as a Young leader coordinator and help shape the future! You’ll support young women aged 14-25 as they develop essential skills, gain confidence, and make lasting friendships.

Outdoor activities adviser

Would you like to support volunteers in your community to get the most out of the opportunities at Girlguiding and everything it has to offer? Becoming a Girlguiding Outdoor activities adviser could be for you!

 

Awards committee member volunteer role

To encourage and promote awards and to be an active member of the Girlguiding Cymru Awards Committee recognising our valued members and volunteers achievements.

Inspire adviser

An Inspire country and region coordinator supports Girlguiding volunteers to shape Girlguiding Inspire for young adult members. You’ll work with county coordinators to help make sure there’s on-the-ground support to empower young women aged between 18 and 30 as Girlguiding Inspire grows.

Safeguarding lead adviser

Supports and advises members of GGC with all aspects of safeguarding. Supports all members and young people on safeguarding issues

 

Equality adviser

They’ll be involved in developing training opportunities in their specialist areas for volunteers, as well as helping us create equal programme resources and activities.

Diversity adviser

They’ll be involved in developing training opportunities in their specialist areas for volunteers, as well as helping us create diverse programme resources and activities.

Inclusion adviser

They’ll be involved in developing training opportunities in their specialist areas for volunteers, as well as helping us create inclusive programme resources and activities.

 

Queen’s Guide
adviser

Are you passionate about empowering young women and inspiring them to reach new heights? Girlguiding Cymru is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to guide our members on their journey to achieving the prestigious Queen's Guide Award!

Growth and retention volunteer role

To provide oversight, support and guidance for the development membership growth and retention initiatives across Girlguiding Cymru’s counties in relation to girls and volunteers.
