Thinking Day is a special time for Girlguiding Cymru, and what better way to celebrate than for girls to wear their uniforms to school? To make it easy for leaders and parents to get permission, we've created some brand new downloadable letters that you can use to request schools' approval.

Why Wear Uniform on Thinking Day?

Wearing uniform on Thinking Day shows solidarity with guiding members around the world and allows girls to be proud of their commitment to the movement. It's also a great opportunity to raise awareness of Girlguiding Cymru and the amazing things we do.

What's Included in the Letters?

Our downloadable letters are available in both English and Welsh, and they include all the information schools need to know about Thinking Day and why girls would like to wear their uniforms. The letters also make it easy for schools to grant permission, with space for email details.
We have editable versions in PDF and Word format.
We also have simpler versions of the letter in PDF format that you can download and complete by hand.
