About me

I grew up in a small village in Beautiful North Wales, I started attending Brownies from the age of 2 as my Mum was the Brown Owl !

I was a Brownie, Guide and Ranger before becoming a Venture Scout and Cub Leader.
I returned to Girlguding when my daughter was 7 and started Brownies, as the unit just needed a little help and I became Snowy Owl, twenty years later I’m still there.

When she transferred up to Guides the same thing happened and then onto Rangers as there wasn’t a Ranger unit at that time.
I have been on more Rainbow sleepovers, Brownie pack holidays and Guide camps to count, including a trip to Our Chalet in Switzerland.

I have also been District commissioner and County BP co-ordinator, and various other ad hoc roles in District, County and Cymru.
I love all the opportunities Girlguiding gives girls and women, and love seeing the girls grow in confidence on their journey.

In my real life I’m a business advisor and accountant running my own practice supporting lots of small businesses grow and flourish. As such I am interested in supporting the Trustees especially on the financial information side.
