Information about our planned South Wales 2025 challenge Event.

We understand many of you are eagerly awaiting details about our South Wales event, planned for July 5th and 6th, 2025, at the National Botanic Garden of Wales in Carmarthenshire, as part of our 2025 challenge.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to provide any details at the moment.

The delay is due to the upcoming implementation of new safeguarding protocols required by the National Botanic Garden of Wales.

These protocols are being put in place to comply with 'Martyn's Law', which is due to come into effect in 2025. This legislation aims to enhance public safety at venues and events by requiring them to implement measures to mitigate potential risks and improve preparedness in the event of a serious incident.

As many of you will remember, the tragic events at the Manchester Arena in 2017 highlighted the importance of robust safety measures at public gatherings. Martyn's Law is being introduced to ensure that venues take appropriate steps to protect those attending.

We are working with the National Botanic Garden of Wales to address these new requirements and are committed to making this event happen if we can. However, as you can imagine, the implementation of these new safety protocols is a complex process and is currently outside of our direct control. You can find out more information about Martyn’s Law via this link.

We hope to be able to provide you with an update and more details about the event after Easter.

Thank you for your understanding. We are excited about the possibility of this event and are doing everything we can to bring it to you.
