North Wales Leader and Young Leader Workshop

Calling all Leaders and Young Leaders in North Wales! Join us for a day of adventure at our exciting workshop day. Discover new activities, learn valuable skills, and connect with other passionate volunteers. Let's make it a day to remember!

Time: 9:45am - 4:30pm

Location: Brymbo Enterprise Centre

Join us for a day of fun, training, and inspiration!

This workshop day is open to all Girlguiding Cymru volunteers aged 14 and over.

Girls aged 14-18 will need a permission form from their parent/guardian.

Choose your adventure!

We have a fantastic range of sessions for you to choose from:

Morning:

  • Fencing Training & "Give it a Go" Challenge Pack Launch: 10:00am - 1:00pm (20 participants)

  • Table Tennis Activators Training: 10:00am - 1:00pm (16 participants)

  • Yoga Flow: 12:00pm - 1:00pm (16 participants)

  • Indoor & Outdoor Activities, Learning Platform, Accounts & Gift Aid Q&A: 11:30am - 1:00pm (16 participants)

Afternoon:

  • Fencing Training & "Give it a Go" Challenge Pack Launch: 1:30pm - 4:30pm (20 participants)

  • Table Tennis Activators Training: 1:30pm - 4:30pm (16 participants)

  • Yoga Flow: 1:30pm - 2:30pm (16 participants)

  • Indoor & Outdoor Activities, Learning Platform, Accounts & Gift Aid Q&A: 1:30pm - 3:00pm (16 participants)

How it works:

  • All members can choose one morning session and one afternoon session.

  • Sessions are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

  • If you have chosen sessions with shorter durations, use the extra time to:

    • Meet other leaders

    • Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee

    • Share ideas and best practices
