“Girlguiding has been a huge part of my life and has played a massive role in shaping the person I am today since I started as a Rainbow 18 years ago. My favourite memory I’ve had with Guiding is my first ever Brownie camp and getting to spend the weekend with my friends away from home. The opportunities I’ve had with Girlguiding have stuck with me and have encouraged me to become the best Leader I can be to my Brownies.

I regularly volunteer with 1st St Mellons Brownie unit and occasionally with 1st St Mellons Rainbow unit and I enjoy every moment of it.

As Communications and PR adviser, it gives me the chance to combine two of my passions and help get the word out about our fantastic organisation.”
