“I have been in guiding since joining as a Brownie at the age of 7, moving on to Guides and then Rangers.

I was a Brownie Guider in Cardiff for over 20 years running 1st Lisvane and 1st Thornhill Brownies. I was also the County Brownie Advisor and then District Commissioner, Assistant County Commissioner and County Commissioner until 2022. I am a lawyer by profession. I have had so many happy memory from guiding.

One of my proudest memories as a Guide in Essex was achieving my backwoods badge which I had to take twice as I couldn’t light a fire quick enough
first time!

Whist we have more capable campers in Wales, I hope that both my professional expertise and guiding experience enables me to support Girlguiding Cymru in taking guiding forward and to offer a secure platform for all our future members.”
