“Girlguiding has been at the heart of my life for many years. Since making my Promise for the first time, my guiding experiences have provided me with joy and helped me develop a range of skills that continue to shape my personal and professional life. As a girl, my priority was ensuring I had 10p and knicker elastic in my Brownie purse belt. As a professional adventurer, my career for over 15yrs, I had the great fortune to share tales of shark attacks at sea to hundreds of Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and leaders.

As well as running a Rainbow unit in Pwllheli, I’ve decided to take on the role of Peer Education Coordinator for Cymru because I understand how important it is that girls have the opportunity to work with role models their own age. Peer-to-peer support is really powerful, so I’ve love to encourage and enable young women to take on this leadership role and make a difference to girls in Guiding across Wales.”
