Alice Cleave takes on new role as Girlguiding Cymru’s Assistant Chief Commissioner.
Hi, I’m Alice from Clwyd! I was a Brownie, a Guide and a Young Leader for Rainbows and Brownies. I now run a Rainbow unit whilst at University where I am studying History and Politics.
As a Young Leader, I was also a Peer Educator and an Assembly Ambassador. I am passionate about young people understanding politics and how the voting system works. I often have used my knowledge to explain the voting system to Guide and Ranger units in a fun interactive way.
I have also represented Girlguiding Cymru on an international to Zambia volunteering with the Book Bus project. In my spare time, I like to read, travel to new places, cook and knit.
I am excited to take on this role and I look forward to working with Bev and Sarah-Jane.
