Cityscapes Adventure 2026 is coming to Cardiff
Tickets are now open for Girlguiding’s exciting wide game event, Cityscapes Adventure. This urban scavenger hunt will take place in 5 cities across the UK - Glasgow, Cardiff, Portsmouth, York and Manchester - on both Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March 2026.
On both days, Girlguiding members from across the UK will come together in Cardiff for a day of fun, friendship and discovery.
Cityscapes Adventure is an urban scavenger hunt designed to test your creativity, problem-solving and teamwork skills. Throughout the day, you will take part in missions and challenges spread across the city, with a mix of volunteer-led and self-led activities.
For just £10 per person, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and leaders can join in a programme filled with variety and energy.

Welsh challenge sheet for the day
During the event, you’ll take on a challenge to find a “Cool Cymru” location in Cardiff and submit a video of your team speaking Welsh. The challenge sheet will be available on GooseChase. If you’d like to practise in advance or print a copy of the sheet, you can access it using the link below.
What’s occurring in Cardiff?
Activities will include sports, creative sessions, crafty skills, future-ready skills and teamwork. There will be opportunities for activities with lots of organisations.
There will also be photo missions and surprise challenges along the way to keep everyone on their toes.

We are still looking for volunteers for Cardiff
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support the Girlguiding Cityscapes Adventure event in Cardiff!
This exciting in-person event needs helping hands on one or both days, so whether you're free for the full weekend or just part of it, we’d love to have you involved. As part of the team, you’ll play a key role in creating a fun and safe experience for our members.
When signing up, please let us know about any skills you can bring to the event, such as organisation, first aid, or activity base skills, as well as any needs or support you may require to take part.
Princess Katherine Boat trips
Girlguiding Cymru offer
Hop aboard the Princess Katherine for a scenic and practical way to travel between Cityscapes activities. The boat isn’t just a fun experience, it’s also a great means of transport, helping you move easily between different activity locations while enjoying the view along the way.
We have negotiated a price for guiding members on the day.

Under 16s: £3
To help keep things running smoothly, we kindly ask groups to call ahead and let the crew know what time you’d like to travel. This helps avoid everyone arriving at once and makes the experience more enjoyable for all.
