Calling all Gymnasts and Gymnastics fans
We’re looking for 2-3 members from each Girlguiding Cymru section to join us at Sophia Gardens for an amazing opportunity to meet the Welsh National Gymnastics Squad and help us launch our brand-new Gymnastics Challenge Pack!
We want girls who:
Already love and take part in gymnastics, trampoline, acro or DMT.
Or simply have an interest in the sport.
Preferably, girls should have or be able to borrow the new Girlguiding uniform. We may be able to support girls who do not have the new uniform, subject to the availability of spare uniforms and suitable sizes.
This is a fantastic chance to meet inspiring Welsh athletes, find out more about gymnastics and be part of the launch of an exciting new challenge!

Do you have a Guide who would love the chance to take part in an exciting adventure, make new friends and experience something completely different?
ICE 2026/2027 is a three-stage journey designed for Guides aged 11–13, combining friendship, adventure, community and global experiences.
Stage 1: Residential weekend in Plas Pencelli — 2–4 October 2026
Stage 2: Residential weekend in Spring 2027 — details TBC
Stage 3: 5-night adventure in Lorne Outdoor Centre: Northern Ireland — 1–6 August 2027
Guides will get involved in community and environmental projects, explore global issues, build confidence and make memories along the way.
Cost: £90 for Stage 1, with additional costs for Stages 2 & 3. The total cost for all three stages is expected to be under £850.

Youth Climate and Nature Panel
Are you aged 16–25 and passionate about climate change, nature or making a difference?
The Youth Climate and Nature Panel, a new initiative from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), is looking for 15 young people from across the UK to help shape the future of climate and nature policy.
As a panel member, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Share your views and experiences
Help influence future climate and nature policy
Inspire wider action on issues that matter to you
Connect with other young people from across the UK
This opportunity is open to Rangers, young leaders, leaders under 25 and Advocates aged 16–25, so if this sounds like you, we’d really encourage you to apply!
