Celebrate and learn about children’s rights with the Girlguiding Cymru Rights Challenge Badge, developed in partnership with the Children’s Commissioner for Wales.

This inspiring badge encourages girls and young women to explore their rights under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) through fun, thought-provoking activities. The badge pack supports members to understand how rights affect their everyday lives and empowers them to speak up for themselves and others.

The challenge pack is suitable for all sections and can be adapted for different age groups. Activities are designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking, helping girls engage with topics such as the right to be heard, to be safe, and to be treated fairly. Whether you’re running a unit meeting or planning a themed event, this badge offers a meaningful way to support girls in becoming active and informed citizens.

The Rights Challenge Badge is free for Girlguiding Cymru members.

For members outside of Wales and non-members, badges are available to purchase at £1.00 each.
