St. David's Day celebrations in Barmouth by Cerian Morris

Cerian from Barmouth Brownies and Guides tells us all about their St. David’s Day 2023 celebrations.

On Wednesday 1 March 2023, Barmouth 2nd Brownies and 1st Barmouth Guides this celebrated Saint David's Day, with games and crafts in Brownies, followed by baking Welsh cakes and crafts.

All the girls enjoyed themselves so much. The girls and volunteers came dressed up in Welsh colours instead of uniform which was exciting.

The craft was a sheep badge and then they created woollen daffodils for their pop-out cards.
The girls also made their own Welsh lady cards by colouring a Welsh lady and getting her to stand by adding her to a cardboard tube.

The Guides had the choice to create cute pom-pom sheep or dragons.
They also created delicious Welsh cakes.

It was a lovely way to celebrate St. David’s Day.
